FIN District Washington Event WIN!

WOW! What a great weekend for Cyber Blue! After some intensive work following last weekend’s Plainfield Event to improve features on our robot, we were ready for big things. The team headed to Washington High School early Friday morning for a long day of competition. We stood at 3rd place of the 26 teams the first day. At alliance selection, we held 5th seed.

Based on the data gleaned by the scouting team, we joined 3rd Alliance Captain 868, with 3947 as the third member. Our alliance marched on throughout the afternoon, clearing the upper bracket!

Alliance 3 took the Finals in two amazing nail-biting wins vs. Alliance 6. Great job team! We’ve brought home a coveted Winner Blue Banner. Thank you for supporting us.

In the midst of the exciting play, our very own DJ won as a Dean’s List Finalist Nominee from the Washington District Event! We’re so proud of him!
