Bloomington District Event Recap

Cyber Blue ended qualifications with an overall record of 11-1-0, putting us in the highest-ranked overall team going into alliance selections.

At alliance selections, we selected team 1720 as our first alliance partner and team 7657 to be our second pick.

As the one seed, we played quarterfinals against the eight seed alliance, consisting of teams 6721, 4926, and 5188. We won both matches with scores of 174-88 and 147-72.

In semifinals, we were matched up against the four seed alliance, against teams 868, 4272, and 3147. These matches proved to be more of a challenge, but we ended up winning both matches, with scores of 185-151 and 167-112.

In finals, we had to play against the two seed alliance. This alliance matched us against teams 7457, 1501, and 3559. Heading into finals, we knew that this alliance had a large amount of offensive power and would be a challenge to defeat. However, we continued our playoff streak and won both matches with scores of 189-146 and 197-133, making our alliance the Bloomington District Event champions.

At the end of the event, we were ranked as the first overall team in the Indiana district and were guaranteed a spot to the Indiana district championships. We hope to continue our streak and keep winning!
