Mentors are a valuable part of the Team, they help guide us and give valuable insight in areas such as: Manufacturing, Mechanical Design, Electronics, Programming, CAD, Media, Business, and more. If you are interested in Mentoring, please reach out to first@cyberblue234.com


Andy Nuetzel –

Currently a Teacher at Perry Meridian High School, Andy was involved in robotics at his previous school and wanted to continue here (little did he know how successful we are!) and he’s been here for 7 seasons. He enjoys Cyber Blue because in his words “I enjoy working with some of our school’s best and brightest”, he loves seeing the growth and development too. One of Andy’s favorite memories was the 2015 Recycle Rush where we won four banners.

Adileah Smith –

Currently a Biomedical Engineer student at Purdue, Adileah recently joined Cyber Blue during the 2025 off-season. She enjoys being a role-model to encouraging girls in STEM-related activities. She gets to help future generation build unique skills and her favorite memory was getting to be apart of one of our open houses.

Bob White –

Currently working as a manufacturing engineer at Allison Transmission. Bob been mentoring Cyber Blue for 6 months, joining because he used to be on Cyber Blue when he was in high school and wanted to Mentor. Bob enjoys Cyber Blue because he enjoys teaching students about CAD and meeting new people, one of his favorite memories was when a driver toppled a stack of totes during Recycle Rush and they still won the match.

Chris Fultz –

He likes working with kids and robots and he’s been mentoring at Cyber Blue for a while.

John Barnett –

Currently working as a network administrator, John decided to join Cyber Blue because his daughter was on the team and he started to help out, now he’s been here for 16 seasons. He enjoys Cyber Blue because he likes seeing students excel in what they do as they learn new things. He loves Cyber Blue so much that he couldn’t even think of a favorite memory!

Kevin Kelly –

Kevin is a retiree from Allison Transmission and has been mentoring Cyber Blue for 28 years, when his two sons asked him to help out when they were on the inaugural team. He loves working with the students and seeing them grow mechanically and socially. One of his favorite memories is when he went to the Championship events at the Epcot Center in Orlando. Fun fact: Kevin is one of the founder mentors

Mark Dobbs –

Currently working as a senior engineer at Telecommunications and has been mentoring Cyber Blue for 20 years when his daughter joined the team. Mark enjoys Cyber Blue because it helps him keep up with all the technology changes and his favorite memory was working with his daughter when she was on the electronics team.

Paul Schreiner –

Currently working as the manager for manufacturing design at Allison Transmission and has been mentoring Cyber Blue for 9 years when his wife was the teacher-sponsor and asked if he wanted to help out. Paul enjoys Cyber Blue because of the amount of ‘cooperation’ taking place and everyone working together and his favorite memory is working with all the kids and applying it to his work at Allison.

Neil Brenneman –

Currently working as a civil designer, Neil has been a member of Cyber Blue for 14 years after being on Cyber Blue as a high school student. He enjoys Cyber Blue because he can teach more people about CAD and he meets a lot of new people. One of Neil’s favorite memories was when a driver toppled a stack of totes during Recycle Rush and still won the match.

Stephen Schneider –

Currently working as an IT project manager at Allison Transmission, Stephen decided to join us when he first moved to Greenwood. One of his favorite Memories while on the team was when he almost made the team lose state in 2015. Stephen enjoys Cyber Blue not only for the memories he has made , but also seeing the growth of the students over the three years he’s been here.

Steve Warner –

Now a retiree from IPL/AES, Steve has been mentoring Cyber Blue for 20 years because his daughter was on the team. He enjoys Cyber Blue because he enjoys working with students and the technology; one of his favorite memories was when his daughter was interviewed by CNN about the 2006 championship in Atlanta.

Rob Goldman –

Currently a Senior Production Super, Rob has been mentoring for 13 years ever since a kid on the team asked him to. He enjoys Cyber Blue because he likes to work with kids. Rob had so many good memories on Cyber Blue that he couldn’t pick one.
